De volta ao post mensal , desta vez com uma ilustração que estará patente ,ao vivo e a cores ,na mais recente exposição do The Lisbon Studio, a decorrer no espaço Leya da  livraria Buchollz, junto á avenida da liberdade, em Lisboa.

Monthly log 14 - Warcraft Fanart

Aproveitando um interregno no corropio de trabalho, aqui fica uma fanart de um tema que é dos meus favoritos : Warcraft!
As saudades de jogar são muitas mas infelizmente o tempo disponivel é muito pouco e não tem dado para matar a sede. Esta fanart serve para colmatar essa falha, heheheh.

So i´m having a bit of time off from the endless flood of comissions and since i haven´t played warcraft in a while i decided to deal with that loss with a bit of fanart, yay!
Dunno why an orc warlock, think it´s the only race i have never played in the game, and therefore it was a challenge to illustrate heheheh.

Monthly log 13 - Landscape fun

Hoje tive um tempinho livre e decidi brincar um bocadinho com pinceis do photoshop e com o filtro sharpen. E assim nasceu o post deste mês. Quando acabei , olhei de longe para o monitor do pc e lembrei-me dos impressionistas. Lembrei-me também que é exactamente assim que eu vejo o  mundo quando não tenho as lentes de contacto postas :D

Ok, so i had a little bit of time to waste this afternoon, so i "grabed" the wacom and the computer and started playing with some photoshop brushes and the sharpen filter. after i finished i kinda thought "this thing has an impressionist feel to it " , cool , i´ll go post it. Then i remembered  this is also what the world looks to me when i´m not wearing my contact lenses ! Groovy !

Monthly log 12 - Some wizard thingy

Aproveitei as férias da páscoa e esta ilustração surgiu muito rápida! Apenas uns dois dias de trabalho, o que pela minha média habitual é muito bom .Gosto do resultado com as cores, mas o cenário ficou um pouco aldrabado, hehehehe.A culpa foi das amendoas da páscoa!

So i got a few free days for the easter and i managed to produce this one in about two days work, wich, considering my normal work flow, is pretty nice!I like the final color result, although the background is rusehd. i blame it on the easter bunnies !

Monthly log 11 - a little inking training

Para o post deste mês peguei num esboço esquecido que tinha para aqui no computador e resolvi treinar um pouco de inking sobre o meu traço. Usei um programa chamado art rage que têm uma série de ferramentas  muito versáteis e das quais se podem obter resultados muito interessantes. Quando tiver um pouco mais de tempo planeio regressar a esse programita para experimentar as ferramentas de pintura.

For this month´s post i took a forgotten sketch that was lying around the computer and decided to train my inking skills on it! I used a super nice program called art rage and this is the result from it. I love this little program, it has lots of super nice tools for sketching, inking and painting. Next time i´ll try a complete painting, if i have the time  : P

Monthly log 10 - A little sketch for fun

Ahah! Consegui um sketch mesmo mesmo com o mês a acabar! Uma vez que o jogo Guild Wars 2 parece que vai finalmente sair este ano, lá aproveitei para rabiscar uma espécie de guerreira Norn , numa adaptação muito muito manhosa. E não as espadas no jogo não vão ser tão lame como a que está neste desenho.

I managed to sketch something before the end of the month, ha! It´s a Norn warrior, kind of, cause Guild Wars 2 is coming this year and cause i like the norn race. And no, ingame swords wont be as lame as the one i drew :P
Also big arms and hands are cool ^^

Monthly log 09

Ok, admito que não consigo actualizar o blog semanalmente por isso tentarei manter um post mensal!A vêr se é desta! Assim , para o primeiro mês do ano , deixo-vos com umas imagens de um dos trabalhos que fiz no fim do ano passado e que consistiu em 4 livrinhos de contos do conhecido Panda, simbolica personagem do Canal Panda ,tendo sido o trabalho efectuado através da editora Goody SA.

Ok, so i admit i can´t keep up with daily updates nor weekly ones so i´m now going for monthly logs.

That said , for the first month of the year i bring you some images of a small book collection i illustrated last year for the portuguese Panda Channel, through the portuguese publisher Goody SA.
